I’ve been trying to jump back on the health train lately so I’ve been trying to eat and cook better. This week I wanted to try my hand at making chicken salad. My aunt made me this kick ass chicken salad over the holidays which gave me the inspiration for this recipe. However, I didn’t want to just recreate what she made me so I added some of my own touches to it. A little bit of wasabi mayo. A little bit of onion salt and garlic powder. And I have a yummy lunch I can eat for a couple days!
Wasabi Mayo Chicken SaladPrint Recipe
- 1/2 pound chicken
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon green onions
- 2 tablespoons wasabi mayo
- 2 tablespoons mayo
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion salt
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F
Season the with chicken salt, pepper, and paprika. Roast for 20 minutes. Let the chicken cool for 10 minutes.
Shred the chicken.
Add the chicken, green onions, wasabi mayo, mayo, garlic powder, and onion salt to a bowl. Mix together.
