Vietnamese Coffee Rice Krispie Treats

Made in only 15 minutes, these Vietnamese Coffee Rice Krispie Treats are an easy, smoky treat that's always a crowd pleaser. Rice krispie cereal is coated with melted marshmallows, espresso powder, and condensed milk.

Instructions

  • Prep a 9×9 baking pan by greasing it with butter and covering it with parchment paper.
  • Measure out 2 tbsp of espresso powder and 2 tbsp of condensed milk. Set aside.
  • Add 5 cups of Rice Krispie cereal to a large bowl. Set aside.
  • Melt 3 tbsp of unsalted butter over medium heat until golden brown.
  • Add 10 oz of marshmallows and stir until melted.
  • Add the espresso powder and condensed milk and stir until incorporated.
  • Pour the marshmallow mixture over the Rice Krispie cereal and stir to coat.
  • Spoon rice krispie treats into the prepared 9×9 baking dish and press down with a spatula so the rice krispie treats are distributed evenly.
  • Let them cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
